Devon Days
PARADE RELEASE FOR LIABILITY
The participant of the Devon Days Parade acknowledges that he/she is fully aware of the nature and extent of the risks involved in the parade and that he/she is assuming all risks associated with participation in the parade utilizing the street and land owned by the Town of Devon.
Participants acknowledge and agree that the Devon Exhibition Association, Town of Devon, and their agents and employees shall not be liable, or in any way responsible for any loss, injury, or damage suffered by the participant due to their participation in the Devon Days Parade, utilizing land and streets owned by the Town of Devon, and absolutely releases the Devon Exhibition Association and the Town of Devon and their agents and employees from any liability whatsoever, now or in the future.
Participants of the parade also acknowledge that all motorized vehicles will be operated by a person(s) with a valid Driver’s License. As well only qualified operators and/or drivers may operate floats.
In doing so the participation in no way limit’s the application of common law principle of volenti non injuria from operation to protect the Devon Exhibition Association and the Town of Devon and their agents and employees.
